My Son, the Gourmand ~ Sam and his Spam

So while I was shopping this morning, I had to call Sam to clarify something he had written on the list.

He answered the phone at home, and I asked, "Did you want Regular Spam??...or Spam Lite??"

Lite. Less calories.

As you can clearly see from our food blog, we are foodies in our family (that's WHY we have a FOOD BLOG!!). And sometimes foodies need to try all SORTS of strange foods.




Mmmm...


I actually have happy memories of Spam, believe it or not. My Dad used to put it in his delicious escalloped potatoes. When my sister and I were with my Dad, we knew we were Incredibly Loved, and so that's what Spam evokes for me. Yup. Love.

Now that's BETTER!! Sam's specialty Spam-Sammo: toasted whole grain english muffin w/an egg, cheese, Spam and hot sauce. It really is GOOD!!
